EGGS IN A BASKET: This sandwich recipe can be adapted to what you have on hand.
Make a hole in the top of the rolls. Crack an egg into the cavity and garnish with a tablespoon of grated cheddar cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about ten minutes until the egg whites are done.
Spare mushrooms, chorizo or tomatoes can be chopped and fried for a few minutes and added to the roll before topping with the egg.

LETTER FONDUE: Enjoy this recipe from Gemma Sokol (@gemtakesfoodpics on Insta). You'll need a loaf of bread and a packet of brie (£1.69 at Sainsbury's).
Cut a hole in the top of your bread and cut and score the top of the cheese before inserting it into the cavity. If you have an open bottle of prosecco or white wine, pour a splash on the brie.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about ten minutes, add another splash of wine or prosecco and bake for five minutes. Use the bread from the center to dip into the cheese.
CHILI: A hearty chili con carne tastes delicious on a sandwich or roll. This Tesco Real Food serves four people for around £1.74 each.
Fry a diced onion in a pan until soft, then add a pack of ground beef and cook for five minutes. Mix in a teaspoon of chili powder and ground cumin, plus a tablespoon of tomato paste and half a teaspoon of paprika powder.
Add a can of chopped tomatoes and kidney beans, plus a beef stock cube and a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Fill the tomato can with water, stir well and let the mixture simmer for an hour. Add a little water if it becomes too dry.
