A Brit who rose in the pedo community to help run one of the dark web's biggest child abuse sites has been jailed.

Nathan Bake, 28, was second in command at the vile location, which allowed millions of sickening images to be shared around the world.

The tire technician moderated content for The Annex, which was run by an Alabama man and had nearly 90,000 users.

Depraved material was shared among the devils with abuse taking place babiestoddlers and “hurtcore,” which involves violence.

Bake has now spent 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to 12 crimes related to moderating and creating dark web sites used to share child abuse material.

It is the first time that the National Crime Agency secured conviction on organized crime charges law.

Chester Crown Court heard that the website was a 'sophisticated and well-structured' company with thirty staff.

Users would first be directed to a “gateway” before being allowed into other areas called “Tots 'R' Us” and “No Limits” if they “earned the trust” of moderators.

The site has since been shut down following a global operation involving the NCA and US law enforcement.

NCA branch commander Adam Priestley said: 'There was nothing on this site that was off limits.

“Everything was encouraged.”

Bake rose through the ranks of the twisted pedo community, taking over as second-in-command when his predecessor was arrested.

Under the username Pinkhe answered users' questions and gave advice on how to avoid getting caught.

In one message, Bake said: “Come on people, show us what you got for HAPPY HOUR. Show us the guys and girls that turn you on the most.”

Other moderators included Kabir Garg, a psychiatrist from Lewisham, south-east London, who was jailed for six years last year.

After Bake's arrest, Police more than 3.6 million indecent images from devices in his home and a 576-page “pedophile manual” were recovered.

Officers also discovered children's tights, underwear and sandals in the bottom drawer of his desk.

In addition to The Annex, the enemy was also a moderator on another site and helped co-create a third one called Lolita's Paradise.

Keith Jones, defending, said Bake, who has Asperger's, had converted Islamstudies Arabic and “finds some peace in the scriptures” after his arrest.

Judge Patrick Thompson said of his sentencing: 'In this day and age, given the widespread public access to news there is very little material that shocks the audience, but this is one such case.

“People are disgusted by these types of insults and by those who derive sexual gratification from the abuse of children in any form.”

Bake pleaded guilty to participating in an organized crime group, three charges of facilitating the sexual exploitation of children and two charges of distributing indecent images of children.

He also admitted three counts of making indecent images of children, possessing a pedophile handbook, possessing prohibited images of children and possessing extreme pornography.
