Fitness Influencer Kayla Itsines Breaks Her Silence About Her $486 Million Split With Ex-Fiancé Tobi Pearce
Kayla Itsines has made a series of scathing comments about her ex-fiancé and business partner, Tobi Pearce, calling him “money driven” and their relationship a “struggle.”
The fitness influencer and entrepreneur, 32, parted ways with the CEO of EzLicence in 2020, with whom she shares a young daughter, and has so far remained tight-lipped about the divorce.
The ex-couple were jointly named tenth on the Australian Financial Review’s Young Rich List for 2019 with a fortune of $486 million, making them the richest self-made over-20s in Australia.
Despite their immense wealth and expressions of happiness on social media, Kayla’s interview with the Australian Financial Review implies that things were never as shiny as they seemed.
“We are the opposite of each other,” she told the publication.
“I look back and think, ‘I have no idea how all this happened.'”
Kayla went on to describe Tobi as “money driven” and “business minded” while considering herself more family oriented.

The fitness influencer and entrepreneur, 32, parted ways with the CEO of EzLicence in 2020 and has been tight-lipped about the divorce ever since. In an interview with the Australian Financial Review, Kayla admitted that due to their differences, she doesn’t even know how she got into a relationship with Tobi.
“We are the opposite of each other,” she told the publication. “I look back and think, ‘I have no idea how all this happened.'”
“I really don’t think, when I step back and look at my years with Tobi, that we were anything like each other,” she added.
‘I’m a fixer. I want to make sure your day is the best day possible. I want to make sure that when you are in my home you feel warm, comfortable and loved. That’s me. Tobi came to me with no family, I had no idea.
“I thought, ‘I can fix you.’ He told me, “We’re dating. Now we’re starting a business. Now we’re doing this.”‘
According to previous reports, Tobi had had a troubled childhood, partly as a runaway homeless person.
After meeting in late 2012, the pair launched the Bikini Body Training Company and gained a following of more than 20 million fitness enthusiasts worldwide through their workouts, app, and health books.
Kayla and Tobi have since moved on to new relationships. The fitness coach is now engaged to Jae Woodroffe, while Tobi is in a relationship with Move With Us founder Rachel Dillion

They also both co-founded the digital workout app SWEAT, which they sold to US company iFit for $400 million in 2021.
She added, “Nothing about my previous relationship was easy. It was always difficult. It was always a struggle.’
Kayla and Tobi have since moved on to new relationships, but they continue to co-parent their daughter Arna, four, in Adelaide.
The female fitness coach is now engaged to Jae Woodroffe after popping the question in July last year.
She and Jae also welcomed their first child together in January, a son named Jax.
Meanwhile, Tobi is dating Move With Us founder and former WBFF champion Rachel Dillon, who recently moved to Adelaide from the Gold Coast and lives with him.
