KYLIAN MBAPPE broke the net with his hammer strike to give PSG a goal in the right direction in their Champions League clash.
The Frenchman opened the scoring against Real Sociedad with a powerful effort to beat Alex Remiro between the sticks.
Mbappe received the ball from Ousmane Dembele in the 15th minute and after using his electric pace to keep the ball in play, he advanced into the penalty area and set up on his favored right foot.
The 25-year-old moved the ball into Arsenal transfer goalkeeper Martin Zubimendi’s side before unleashing a vicious strike that found its way into the back of the net.
The shot had so much force that it actually pulled the net off the upright and a THREE MINUTES DELAY to proceedings in San Sebastian.
Staff members at the Reale Arena had to repair the goal before play could continue.
Mbappé later doubled his side’s lead with a second goal for himself in the 56th minute, securing a 2–1 victory and a 4–1 aggregate victory for the Parisians.
PSG made little work of Sociedad and will now progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Thanks to Mbappe’s support, he extended his excellent record in Europe’s most prestigious competition to 46 goals and 26 assists in just 68 Champions League appearances.
It’s no wonder the world’s best teams are sniffing around the World Cup winner who is set to bid farewell to PSG at the end of the season.

Spanish giants Real Madrid appear most likely to secure the superstar’s services, but Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with a shock move for Mbappe.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta explained last month that he believes his side should be ‘in the conversation’ with players of Mbappe’s calibre.
He said: “If we want to be the best team, we need the best talent and the best players, that’s for sure.
“I am not [part of those conversations]. Maybe Edu and the owners are, but I was only involved in those conversations in the final phase.
Asked directly whether he would be interested in Mbappe even though it looks like he is on his way to the Spanish capital, Arteta said: “If there is a player of that caliber we always have to be in discussions.
“But like you said, it looks different. That’s what I’ll say.”
