Marvel Studios released its latest superhero series on Disney+ on Wednesday, with Hawkeye spinoff actress Alaqua Cox reprising her role as Maya Lopez.
Echo is the action-packed origin story of the Choctaw superhero who flees New York City after shooting supervillain Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio).
But the best thing about the five-part series directed by Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie? It is the first Marvel show to release all episodes at once.

The thrilling series continues from the Hawkeye finale, in which Maya shot Wilson in the head after discovering he had her real father killed.
But alas, the Kingpin can’t be taken out that easily, as he returns in Echo with an eye patch over his gunshot wound.
‘Maya. I see everything that you are. I always have,” the super-strong crime lord tells her in the heart race trailer.

Echo also stars Chaske Spencer who plays Henry “Black Crow” Lopez, Maya’s well-meaning uncle with a troubled past and a roller skating rink.
Graham Greene plays Skully, a grandfather figure to Maya, while Tantoo Cardinal plays her real-life estranged grandmother Chula.
Meanwhile, Devery Jacobs and Cody Lightning play Bonnie and Biscuits, Maya’s cousins and best friends, respectively.
