VALENCIA star Mouctar Diakhaby suffered a horrific leg injury during his side’s draw against Real Madrid on Saturday.

Players from both teams were near tears after the defender went down in an accidental collision with Vinicius Jr.

Real’s Brazilian winger was unable to watch during the aftermath as medics rushed onto the pitch.

And Croatian legend Luka Modric was left with his head in his hands as Diakhaby writhed in pain on the ground.

The tragic incident took place in the 86th minute of the 2-2 draw at Mestalla.

When Vinicius Jr. going down after a challenge, he tumbled straight into Diakhaby’s legs.

The central defender fell awkwardly on top of Vinicius Jr., as one leg appeared to be trapped.

And he immediately screamed in pain as players immediately called for medical attention.

Many stars on the field appeared close to tears as the reality of the scene became clear.

Vinicius Jr. couldn’t look at Diakhaby while he was in pain, instead staring at the ground in disbelief.

And teammate Modric buried his face in his hands as Valencia’s star defender was carried off the pitch.

Antonio Rudiger also looked very sad, while Brahim Diaz covered his mouth in shock.
