NEET 2024 Notification: NTA NEET UG Application Form Released on neet.ntaonline.in: Report

NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA), the examination body, has announced this National Eligibility cum Undergraduate Entrance Test (NEET UG) Exam Date 2024. As per the official notification, NEET UG exam will be conducted on May 5, 2024; the result for this will be announced in June. NEET UG, the only exam for admission to MBBS and BDS, it is considered one of the toughest entrance exams in India. Earlier today the NTA NEET Registration Form was released on neet.ntaonline.in; the information bulletin is available in Hindi and English, among others.

Candidates are required to complete the form NTA NEET UG 2024 Application Form at neet.ntaonline.in; So far, NTA has not released any statement regarding the NTA NEET Registration Date and Time on its official portal. As per the reports, the last date for submitting the NTA NEET UG 2024 application form is March 9, 2024 (till 5:00 PM). General/NRI candidates have to pay Rs 1700 as application fee. The entire application process for NEET (UG) – 2024 is online, including uploading scanned images/documents, paying fees and printing confirmation page, admit card, etc.

NEET 2024 Notification: How to Fill NTA NEET UG Application Form?

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2024.
  • Look for the link that says 'Register for NEET UG 2024.'
  • Register yourself on the portal and complete the registration form.
  • Upload the necessary documents. Upload scanned images of the candidate's recent passport size photograph, postcard size photo, signature, left and right finger and thumb print, citizenship certificate (if applicable) and PwBD certificate (where applicable
  • Candidates are required to pay the required examination fee. The charges can only be submitted online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card or UPI. Processing fees and GST, if applicable, will be charged to the candidate (in addition to exam fees) by the concerned bank/payment gateway integrator
  • Download, save and print a copy of the application form confirmation page (which cannot be downloaded until the fee has been successfully transferred) for future reference.

Admission to all seats of undergraduate medical/dental courses is through NEET (UG) – 2024. Following are the available seats under different quota:

  • All Indian quota seats
  • State government quota seats
  • Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed UniversityState/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical/Dental Colleges or a Private University
  • Central pool quota seats
  • All seats, including NRI quota and management quota, are in private medical colleges for unaided/aided minorities/non-minorities.
  • AIIMS Institutes across India/JIPMER.
  • The guidance for successful candidates for seats under 15% All India Quota and 100% including 85% state quota seats of Central Institutions (ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/Central Universities (including DU/BHU/AMU)/ AIIMS /JIPMER and Deemed Universities are conducted by the MCC/DGHS for undergraduate medical/dental courses. MCC only does the registration for AFMC and forwards the details of registered Candidates to AFMC authorities for the admission process. DU/BHU and other universities can use the score for other relevant courses offered by them.

Before NEET Aspirants register for NEET UG, they should keep the following things ready.

  • A valid mobile number
  • A valid email address
  • Scanned images of the candidate's recent passport photo,
  • Postcard size photo,
  • Signature,
  • Left and right finger and thumbprint,
  • Category certificate (if applicable),
  • Citizenship certificate (if applicable),
  • PwD certificate (where applicable)
  • Class 10 Pass Certificate
