This weekend, many people around the world will head to their local pub to grab a beer or two for the holidays.

If you’re wondering whether to drink a beer with various skincare benefits, grab a fresh pint of Guinness.

According to Jason, one of the key ingredients in a pint of Guinness is barley, which contains several antioxidants, including polyphenols.

They can help ‘repair and rejuvenate’, as well as ‘minimize skin aging’ and damage.

“Barley is also a source of several vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B3, iron and zinc, which are also known to promote healthy skin,” he explained.

The expert added that the hops in a pint of Guinness can also help maintain a healthy skin barrier.

The notable hops in the beer contain antioxidant properties that can help protect the skin from oxidative stress and environmental damage.

Before you get too excited, Jason warned that the drying effects of the alcohol content in a pint of Guinness counteract some of the positive effects, especially if you drink a lot of it in a short period of time.

A cruise ship passenger has detailed her holiday from hell – after being kept awake all night by unruly partying and racking up a $500 Wi-Fi bill.

Content creator Aili Hillstrom uploaded a tearful video to TikTok, explaining that she’s currently on a cruise with MSC Cruises, but isn’t having the relaxing vacation she was hoping for thanks to the antics of her drunken neighbors.

“I’m so sleep deprived that I feel like I can’t even control my emotions,” she began the clip.

‘I spoke to reception this morning and they called our neighbors and told them they are not allowed to have friends in their cabin. They are not allowed to make such a noise, otherwise the immigration authorities would be called,” she said.

Aili said that after she complained to the front desk, the man assured her that they would not make any more noise.

“Right now it’s 11am, we wasted our morning in Jamaica,” the content creator says acidly.

“So I go back to the cabin to try to get some sleep – I’m fucking exhausted – and they have their friends in their cabin, and it’s so loud again,” she fumes.

“I’m not just going to wait until tonight to see if it happens again because I know they’re just going to get in trouble and it’s going to happen again. I just can’t go through this another night,” she continued.

“I’m going to swim home, damnit,” complained the irritated traveler. “It’s all just ridiculous.”

Aili said she was told she had to request a room change, but there was a sign at the front desk saying the ship was fully booked.

Aili’s friend, Leah McCulloch, who she is traveling with, also unleashed her anger in a TikTok video, saying the pair didn’t leave the cruise ship ‘all f**king day’ because their ‘f**king’ neighbors will not ‘keep silent’.

Leah said their unruly neighbors had kept them awake two nights in a row so far, waking them at 1am to their neighbors ‘yelling at each other’.

“Last night, at four in the morning, they had quite a party in their room,” Leah complained.

She said Aili knocked on their door and told them to be quiet, but they responded aggressively by shouting, “We have to go fuck the neighbors and make them have an orgasm so they are happy.”

“Are you really kidding me?” she said in disbelief.

Leah said they spoke to the front desk three times, but they’ll “see if it happens again.”

“That’s nonsense,” she raged, “just move us to another room.”

Leah said she and Aili were trying to sleep around 11am the next morning when their neighbors decided to start the party again, claiming the reception was ‘not good’.

It wasn’t just the loud neighbors who left Leah and Aili fuming – after Aili revealed in another clip that they were also hit with a whopping $500 WiFi bill and an $800 drinks package – for non-alcoholic drinks.

And while some viewers were sympathetic to the women’s plight, others ridiculed the couple.

“I don’t follow you, but you pop up here and there every time you’re emotional about something. You see the world, something most can’t do,” one TikTok user commented.

‘Crying for a poor person with two children. Want to trade?’ another wrote.

“First world problems,” someone else agreed.

Other users felt sorry for the weary traveler.

“You got paid well and deserve a good night’s sleep,” one person commented.

“Aren’t there places they can party on the ship?” asked another. “It’s so inconsiderate, and I’m so angry that guest services isn’t helpful.”

A spokesperson for MSC Cruise told DailyMail.com: ‘Our crews are always happy to provide guests with a comfortable and restful holiday on board our ships.

“In this case, management has moved the guests to another cabin and we are happy to see from their latest videos that they are enjoying their cruise.”

MARCUS RASHFORD is in trouble again at Manchester United after missing training after a night out in Belfast.

McGuinness’ claim comes after Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation suffered an £8.7 million drop in donations, according to its annual report.
