THE 2024 Super Bowl is just around the corner and millions of people around the world are about to watch it on TV.
To get the most out of your TV on this special occasion, experts have various advice.
DO NOT USE SPORTS MODE
Television expert James Willcox of Consumer Reports does not recommend using Sports Mode for the Super Bowl.
This may seem strange because the expert thinks that the screen quality will not be as good if you use this setting.
“What it's going to do is artificially increase the contrast, the colors and the brightness, and it's going to give you an unnatural-looking image,” he warned.
The expert recommends using Natural, Cinema or Filmmaker modes instead.
AVOID BRIGHTNESS AUDIO
According to the experts at Digital trendsyou may want to play around with your TV's audio settings before the game.
“Avoid any 'clarity' mode for speech as it may distort audio levels,” they warned.
They suggest choosing a mode that reduces crowd noise and amplifies the announcers.
You may want to play a different sports game earlier in the day and change the settings to see what works for you.
TRY AUTOMATICALLY IMPROVE
Sky's Head of Product, Hackspert, has some advice for viewers tuning into the Super Bowl in Britain.
“The Auto-Enhance feature on Sky Glass is designed to create the best viewing experience for our customers.
“Whether you're a football-mad fan or a cinema buff, Auto-Enhance lets Sky's top-quality content do the talking.”
