The new treats are described as “Milk chocolate with a soft cookie dough flavored filling and a crunchy cookie center.”

The news was shared on @treatsinstore's Instagram page.

The account manager said, “I'm not sure where the 'ice cream' part comes from, but they sure are tasty and moreish.”

“The filling is sweet, with a vanilla-like flavor and yes, it tastes just as good as cookie dough.

“It's firm and chewy and makes a good contrast to the crispy cookie. The milk chocolate coating is standard Nestlé fayre.”

“Definitely worth a try if you're a Munchies fan.”

At the moment Asda is the only supermarket stocking chocolates, but you can also find them through online confectioners, although they charge more for them.

Sweet Sensations Online sells them for £3, plus postage.

However, Nestle has done its best to keep fans entertained with the new Aero Choco Hazelnut bar spotted on store shelves.
