According to claims in the class action lawsuit, certain Verizon customers have been billed for unfair “administrative fees.”

Verizon has admitted no wrongdoing but has agreed to a $100 million settlement fund.

The deadline to file a claim in this Verizon administrative charges class action lawsuit approaches next month.

If you are affected by this, you may have already received an email from your smartphone’s network provider.

Check your inbox, but also check your email for any letters about the case.

It’s also best to check your spam folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox and think you should have received one.

Make sure you respond to your report and file a claim before April 15, 2024.

You should be able to do this using a unique confirmation code sent to you through the Verizon class action settlement administrator.

It is thought that those who qualify for a claim could receive up to $100 in compensation.

To receive the full amount offered, you must provide proof that you were affected.

“Anyone who is a current or previous post-paid wireless or ‘data’ subscriber to Verizon services and who is charged an ‘Administrative Fee’ or Administrative and Telco Recovery Fee at any time between January 1, 2016 and November 8, 2023 have been brought,” is affected, thus OpenClassActions.com.

More information can be found on the claim form website.

Verizon was previously accused of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act with robocalls.

It ultimately paid out between $71 and $143 in that class action settlement.
