Woman shows off new way to use wax melts and it’s so good it’s become her ‘obsession’
A WOMAN has been hailed as a ‘genius’ for the way she uses her melting torch to eat melted chocolate.
In one clip, she showed how instead of placing her wax melts on the holder, she adds blocks of chocolate instead.
After lighting the candle under her burner, she slowly melts her chocolate until it is no longer solid.
She showed how she then dips marshmallows and strawberries into the chocolate on a fork for the perfect hot snack.
Typically, a wax burner is used to melt scented wax with a tealight underneath to keep your home smelling fresh.
A clip of the tasty looking hack was shared on the @daddy_spark TikTok account, which dubbed it as the ultimate “candle wax melt hack.”
The video has racked up over 16,000 likes and people seemed impressed with the trick of using the wax melt burner.
One person wrote: “you are absolutely brilliant!! you could put a cupcake liner on top to keep it hygienic.
Another said: “I bet you can do this with cheese too, this will be my new thing.”
A third commented: “This is a game changer!”
A fourth wrote: “OMG what a great idea.”
Some people said they had known about the hack for a while.
One person offered: “Been doing this for years. we have a few on the way now with different chocolate and also cheese. best movie night snacks.”
However, one advised: “Great hack, but as someone who has done ceramic and clay work, that burner may not have a food-safe glaze.”
This isn’t the only time someone has resorted to using a wax melt burner for food.
We told how one woman cooked pasta with the device – and many called it ‘genius’, but some are less than impressed.
Chrissy decided to get creative when she reportedly had a power outage but needed something to eat.
Unable to use her stovetop to cook pasta for herself, she turned on the wax burner for some help.
Chrissy, however, left out the smells of fresh wax melt and instead cooked herself some tomato and cheese pasta.
In the video we see that Chrissy first places some pieces of pasta on top of the wax burner.
Then she poured some water over the pasta.
Chrissy then placed a lit tealight underneath and waited for the pasta to cook.
Once cooked, she poured some tomato sauce over it before adding a slice of cheese.
She then mixed the dinner with a miniature fork before eating.
