Xbox fans are vowing to leave the platform forever after a shocking in-game revelation
THERE ARE rumors that a number of Xbox exclusives could be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in the future.
The first games mentioned in the rumors were Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, but it looks like more games could be added to the list.
Xbox hasn't officially announced this yet, but people looking into Hi-Fi Rush's code saw some new interesting items.
In the game's code, people found blue and red shirts that are currently unavailable in the game.
Shirts exclusive to Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store were just announced, so it makes sense that these two shirts will be exclusive to PlayStation and Nintendo.
In any case, this finding seems to confirm that Hi-Fi Rush will come to other platforms, but whether other games will also participate is still unknown.
In addition to the original rumor group, some people are now saying that heavy hitters like Starfield and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could be coming to other platforms as well.
Xbox players have not reacted well to the news, believing that it could spell the end of Xbox as a console.
They see this move as Microsoft reduces its support for Xbox consoles and the company focuses on games in the future.
One user changed the spelling of the Metacritic review: “I originally gave Hi-Fi Rush a 10/10, but I have to formally retract my perfect score.
“This is because the data breach confirms that the game is no longer exclusive to the Xbox and PC platforms.
“As Xbox loyalists, we've spent our time and money making Xbox the best place to play games, and let's make our most beloved titles available on developing world consoles.
“Horrible news for Xbox gamers and the industry as a whole. Shame on Phil Spencer and his company.”
Another user said on Twitter: “I wouldn't be shocked if class action lawsuits came out of this whole Xbox mess.
“If everything said is true, then Xbox deliberately and directly misled and falsely advertised to consumers.
“Seems pretty cut and dry to me.”
It seems like Xbox fans are extremely against this change, even though Xbox's motto has long been to give more people more ways to play.
