However, one model is taking a stand against age discrimination by embracing her bikini body and wearing short shorts.

Like many women, Robin Nest had become frustrated with the way society dictated how we age.
Instead of trying to conform to the model, the Texas native decided to spread age positivity through social media and turned her Instagram into a haven for sixty plus women.
In a motivational post, the 63-year-old hit back at unrealistic beauty standards and proudly told fans she “looked” her age.
She also encouraged others to embrace growing older, writing a powerful caption about how diverse and beautiful aging can be.
“We all look a certain way as we get older. No right or wrong. No, 'you look good for your age,'” she wrote emphatically, adding, “I'm proud to be part of this growing community of women determined to put an end to an outdated story about what we should look like at a certain moment. age.”
It's also not the first time Robin has pushed back on beauty standards, with the influencer often sharing photos of her beautiful and 'youthful' outfits on the app.
The content creator is not afraid of her flaws and will proudly wear nude underwear on her. On her page she shows off her slim body.
With her blonde locks behind her, Robin looks fantastic in her motivational film, which also showed snippets of her daily life.
In another clip, the fashionista dons a cream-colored crochet dress with her bikini peeking through as she strolls around her Texas home.
Her style is effortless, with the influencer giving a big, low-key, luxurious look while then wearing a cowboy hat in a similar earth tone.
Even her more professional outfits are stunning, with her wardrobe consisting of slinky small dresses and tailored hot pants that she wears with oversized blazers.
Unsurprisingly, as Robin previously said, “In many ways I don't feel much different now than when I was much younger.”
With her posts regularly receiving thousands of likes, Robin has quickly amassed a huge following with over 23,000 fans online.
Many of them find it hard to believe that the model is in her 60s, with one writing in the comments: “You look great no matter the number (but I would never guess 63)”
Others agreed, with another admirer adding: “I think you look beautiful.”
However, for the influencer, receiving compliments on her appearance is not the end goal.
Instead, Robin wants to show other women that it is possible to live a full life after fifty with dreams, hopes and ambitions.
Proving that age is just a number, the content creator uploads videos of herself working out at home or at the gym, encouraging other women to find fulfillment in any way they can.
She told fans: “Learn to love your age, every day a gift. As cheesy as it may sound, 60 and older is a whole new place to be.
“I hope you can find and celebrate the gift of growing older, as I have learned that not everyone gets the chance.”
