CHLOE KELLY has emerged as a summer transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.
It is claimed that the French giants want to make England and Manchester City the highest-paid female player in Europe.
Their interest, reported by Mail Sport, comes two years after Kelly signed a three-year contract extension with City, which expires in February.
The WSL ace has flourished for club and country since scoring the match-winning goal that helped the Lionesses win the 2022 European Championship.
This season, the London-born forward has helped her side keep pace with Chelsea in the battle for the league title, with five goals and four assists in 13 games.
The team, who visit Arsenal on Sunday, are currently second in the WSL and are chasing their first top-flight title since 2016.
The Citizens are just three points behind the leaders and will hope to maintain the pressure on Emma Hayes' side at the end of the season.
But a win for Arsenal would take them level on points with City, albeit behind on goal difference.
The Daily Mail claim that City hope Kelly will agree a new deal with the club before the final year of her contract.
However, it is thought that the Lioness is pausing discussions about her future until the end of this season.
PSG's reported interest would see Kelly become the highest-paid female footballer in Europe – earned only by stars who played in the US.
The Mail also claims that other European clubs could be tempted to outbid PSG if it becomes clear that Kelly wants to leave Manchester City.
Chelsea striker Sam Kerr is the current highest earner in the WSL, earning £417,000 a year.
