A SHOPPER has cleared Asda shelves after spotting a variety of beauty purchases that have been massively reduced.

An anonymous shopper was left stunned while browsing the aisles in their local Asda to see a huge range of Herbal Essences hair care items had been cut off.

With prices starting from 67 cents each, the shopper took to social media to warn others.

Post on Extreme Coupons and Bargains UKa private Facebook group with a whopping 2.4 million members, the shopper shared a photo of their huge haul, explaining: “Asda, clearance section, tagged at £2.50 each but scanned with self-scan.”

The customer then claimed they took four bottles of the Herbal Essences aloe and bamboo shampoo, as well as two of the aloe and mango conditioners, for just £1.80 each.

Not only this, but the customer also managed to get their hands on three of the manuka honey shampoos and six of the coconut milk shampoos, for £1.25 each.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Asda shopper also stole three argan oil terms, for just 67p each.

In total, the customer picked up 18 bottles of hair care products, which cost a total of £45.

However, the proceeds were only €24.60, saving this shopper a total of €20.94.

The beauty fan later wrote: “I believe it’s mainly the Vegan range [that is reduced].”

But it turns out that the Herbal Essences Argan Oil hair conditioner, which this customer bought for just 67 cents, is a huge fan favorite.

On Superdrug’s website alone, there are more than 4,000 five-star reviews for the cheap buy.

Not only have beauty fans claimed that hair is restored in just a week, but others said it leaves hair looking soft and healthy.

One person said: “I used to bleach my hair and dye it red so my hair was quite damaged before using this and I was at my wits end trying to find something that could help as my hair was breaking and being so hard to brush.

While someone else wrote: “Great conditioner that softens and repairs my dry, brittle hair.”
