Baby joy! The Block’s Elyse Knowles announces she’s expecting her third child with fiancé Josh Barker – one year after giving birth to second son

Elyse Knowles is becoming a mother for the third time in four years.

The former star of The Block made the exciting announcement on Wednesday, sharing a series of snaps from a recent family holiday in Fiji.

The 31-year-old, who is engaged to fiancé Josh Barker, showed off her growing baby bump in a series of bikini photos with her two sons Sunny, three, and Zaii, one.

“The boys are excited about another sibling,” she captioned her post.

Elyse’s announcement was met with several well wishes from friends and followers.

“Congratulations,” Love Island host Sophie Monk responded.

“Omg Wowwow. You do it so effortlessly!’ MAFS star Martha Kalifatidis added.

Another follower wrote: ‘What a beautiful growing tribe you are!!! I’m happy for you.’

“I can’t wait for another little person to join the fammmmm,” said one fan.

The couple’s revelation comes a year and just a few days after Elyse gave birth to their second child, son Zaii.

In January 2023, she announced that she was expecting the soon-to-be middle child, explaining that she was “halfway through” her pregnancy and that Sunny was excited to become a big brother.

Josh and Elyse, who shot to fame when they were crowned winners of The Block in 2017, welcomed Sunny in February 2021.

They announced the birth of their first child shortly after revealing they were secretly engaged.

The former reality stars moved from Melbourne to Byron Bay in 2019 in search of a quieter life.

In May 2020, they bought a $2.3 million beach house in the New South Wales coastal town, which they renovated.

Elyse revealed herself Stellar magazine that paralyzed her anxiety after the birth of her son.

‘I was quite nervous when I left home for the first time. My heart was beating. I didn’t know if I could do it,” she told the publication.

‘To have [Sunny]having our dogs and going there… And Sunny was screaming in the car and that really scared me.”

“I found it hard to breathe and I had to say to myself, ‘It’s fine, what could go wrong? Everyone has babies… you just have to go for it,'” Elyse added.

‘It took a few times for me to gain confidence. But I’m not going to lie, it was hard at first.’

She told me too Body + Soul magazine that she and Josh avoid using cell phones around Sunny.

“I don’t want him to pick it up. I don’t want him to play at all,” the media personality said.

Josh and Elyse have been together for nine years and engaged for two, but have yet to get married.
