Billy Eilish would be happier than ever if haters stopped making negative comments about her body.

“It’s tough, man,” said 21-year-old Eilish Fashion in an interview published on Tuesday, June 20. “Frankly, no one can say anything about my body that I don’t have a stronger opinion about. … I also think if I was younger – like if the internet talked about me like they do now when I was 11, I don’t think I could exist, to be honest.

While the “Bad Guy” singer commented that she likes herself “more than she used to,” the body-shaming commentary still gets under her skin. “I’m more interested in how I feel than how [trolls] feeling. But that can also be a bunch of bulls because it still hurts me like an asshole,” she confessed.

Eilish explained that she was “very manly and boyish” most of her life, but recently realized she’s “allowed to be what I want to be when I want to be.”

“I’m feminine too, and I’m sexy too, and I’m cute too, and I’m also just none of the above, and I’m just me,” she shared, adding that she’s been experimenting with different styles so she can get all facets. of her personality.

The ‘Happier Than Ever’ artist is no stranger to taking down haters. After debuting a new glamorous look in 2021, she opened up about the criticism she’s received for the clothes she chooses to wear and the double standards she holds.

“People hold onto these memories and have an attachment [to my past looks]Eilish said Elle in October 2021. “But it is very inhumane. I lost 100,000 followers just because of the boobs. People are afraid of big breasts.”

Eilish added that she was initially dazzled by the “relentless drumbeat of critique” – something she didn’t expect just because she “made a song once and kept making songs after that”.

“I never said, ‘Hey, watch my life,'” she told the outlet at the time. “All my friends know I don’t want to see one [the negative chatter]. When people send me something mean, it hurts my soul.”

In May, discussion erupted when Eilish posted a photo via Instagram of her rocking a tight T-shirt that showed off her pierced navel and the top of the dragon tattoo on her hip. “I thought she would be different and out of step with the rest of these people,” one troll wrote in the comments section, while another responded, “Whatever happened to ‘I don’t want to be sexualized’.”

The Grammy winner, for her part, quickly fired back.

“I spent the first five years of my career absolutely WORRIED by you fools for being boyish and dressing like I did and being constantly told I would be hotter if I acted like a woman,” she wrote via her Instagram story. “And now, whenever I feel comfortable enough to wear something feminine or appropriate, I’ve CHANGED and I’m a sellout… morons. I can be BOTH you f–king bozos 🤓 LET WOMEN EXIST! :)))”

The California native continued, “FUN FACT! did you know that women are versatile!!!!!! Shocking right?? believe it or not, women can be interested in more than one thing. … Also that femininity does not equal weakness???!!!!! OMG?! insane right? who knows?? … and also totally unheard of and insane to want to express yourself differently at different times 🤯.”

Comments on Eilish’s sexier appearance aren’t always negative. When she shared a photo of her sunbathing in a yellow bikini earlier this month, fans went wild for her patterned swimsuit and toned physique. “Omg. I’m not breathing,” one person gushed, while another commented, “Sorry for all the Billie fans intruding on your comment section.” We’re dying right now.’

Despite still being scrutinized by the public, Eilish now has coping mechanisms she turns to to keep her calm — and to give her a break from being constantly in the spotlight.

“I like taking a bath,” she told Vogue on Tuesday. “Honestly, I play a lot of games on my phone and I feel really good about it. But it’s really hard, you know? I’ve had a rough time, TBH, and I’m still figuring it out. But it’s definitely a weird life; I will say that.”
