Blake Shelton wishes Gwen Stefani a happy wedding anniversary with a heartwarming post

Blake Shelton, 47, wished his wife of two years, Gwen Stefani, 53, a happy birthday on his Instagram via a heartwarming post.

The God Gave Me You singer centered the anniversary dedication around an old photo of him kissing Gwen during their wedding ceremony.

‘Happy birthday! Every day has been the best day since I met you,” the country singer captioned the photo.

The two former coaches of The Voice got married on July 3, 2021.

According to Page sixthe couple tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony at Blake’s dreamy ranch in Oklahoma.

Ironically, their love initially blossomed from a shared heartbreak.

The Just A Girl singer recalled on The Howard Stern Show how she had “a huge weight” on her shoulders following her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, according to People.

“It was at that time that he came to my chair… I’ve never seen him so upset,” Gwen shared, referring to Blake’s own divorce from his ex-wife Miranda Lambert at the time.

Still just co-workers at the time, the No Doubt singer and her husband-to-be grew closer over their mutual woes.

While the platinum-haired beauty wasn’t “trying to start a relationship” at the time, Gwen acknowledged that in hindsight, it was: “Unbelievable that God would put us in a position to have each other right then and there, in the exact same moment.”

Gwen and Blake were first romantically linked in November 2015.

An insider confirmed to People at the time that the singers were dating.

“Everyone is excited because they are both incredibly nice people,” the source said.

While Gwen initially left The Voice first and did not return for the twentieth season, Blake eventually decided to leave the reality series after season 23 to focus on Gwen, his own music career, and be a stepfather to his wife’s three sons , Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

The country crooner revealed to Access to Hollywood that being a stepfather changed his view of his life’s priorities.

“I’m not the first person I think of anymore,” Blake admitted, referring to how he changed his attitude about making plans for the future.

“Even down to the little things when you say, ‘I think I’ll do this,’ the next thought is always, ‘Well, wait a minute. How does that work?’ Or, “What will they think?” noted the singer of God’s Country.

He also revealed that he plans to open another location of his Ol red rooftop bar and restaurant franchise in Las Vegas – a grand opening date has yet to be confirmed.
