The discovery of a seriously injured man outside a home has led to an investigation by the homicide unit.
The man was found outside a house on Buchanan Place in Greenvale, 20km north of Melbourne’s CBD, about 4.30am on Tuesday.
Initial reports indicate that the man was shot in the usually quiet suburb.
