Katy Perry was pictured sitting next to AI mogul Sam Altman, who is worth $2 billion.
They were at a pre-Oscars party in a photo shared on designer Diane Von Furstenberg’s Instagram Story on Sunday.
The 38-year-old tech industry mogul kept his arm around the 39-year-old hitmaker as they sat next to each other and briefly posed.
The songwriter – who is stepping down from her position as a judge on American Idol after seven seasons – stood out as she wore a flowing white dress that exposed her toned arms to the party.
The ET singer wore several gold jewelry and her dark brown hair fell down her back.
Not seen at the event was Perry’s fiancée Orlando Bloom, whom she started dating after they met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016.

Before getting involved with the 47-year-old artist, the singer was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor was also married to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013, and they share a son named Flynn, 13, who was born in 2011.
Orlando eventually moved on with Perry, and in May 2016, they went Instagram official with their relationship.
The singer and actor split in February 2017, although they reconciled the following year.
The Teenage Dream singer and the star of the Lord Of The Rings franchise further revealed that they got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.
Perry and Orlando then started a family with the birth of their daughter Daisy Dove, three, in August 2020.
The actor spoke Show off about his relationship with the songwriter, stating that they often disagreed about each other’s work.
“Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not necessarily a pool that she necessarily understands,” he said.
