Girlfriend drops stunning court bombshell years after her boyfriend’s death

A woman has admitted killing her boyfriend a week before she was due to appear in court charged with his murder.

Brittany McCulloch, 30, appeared in the WA Supreme Court via video link on Thursday, almost two years after the body of Jordan Chas Caine was found in an Alkimos garage in Perth’s north.

When asked to enter her plea to the charge of murdering Mr Caine between July 28 and July 31, 2022, McCulloch told the court: ‘I am guilty,’ reports 7News.

The next trial will not be adjourned and McCulloch will return to court for sentencing in October.

McCulloch was arrested shortly after 34-year-old Mr Caine’s body was found in the garage of his home in Minoan Way.

She was initially charged with manslaughter, but the charge was upgraded following a police investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the death have not been publicly released.

At the time of the killing, police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death and that there was no threat to the community.
