EFL match postponed with fans 'just ten minutes away' as supporters criticize the leaders
THE League Two match between Wallsall and Morecambe has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Some fans had already started their journey to the stadium when the announcement was made.
Groundsmen had to wipe rain from the field in a desperate attempt to get the game started.
But after the referee's inspection, it was decided to postpone the match.
Supporters were unhappy at the late timing of the decision, with one raging: “Pathetic to call off the match while the fans have been off the ground for ten minutes.”
