Cardi B closes Balenciaga Catwalk in oversized faux fur coat
Cardi B Totally owned the Balenciaga Fall 2024 fashion show, stealing the show in a faux fur coat and diamond necklace.
The 31-year-old rapper walked in the Balenciaga catwalk presentation on Saturday, December 2, which took place outside on South Windsor Boulevard in Los Angeles. Cardi strolled down the sidewalk in a long fur coat, which she wore slightly off her shoulders. She completed her look with a diamond necklace and a sleek ponytail.
Underneath the breathtaking jacket, Cardi opted for a black bustier panta bodysuit, Rock Stud earrings and a Diamant Typo ring. For glamour, she went dark, with winged eyes and smoky lids, which complemented her purple lips.
The runway was an exciting, but exhausting moment for Cardi.
“If I tell you all, I feel like I’m dying. Can you all believe this? The voice I had all day [is gone]” she joked later on Saturday evening in an Instagram Story. ‘But I persevered! Some bitch got through, y’all.”

Saturday’s runway appearance marked Cardi’s first time on the catwalk, although she has previously appeared in the brand’s fashion campaigns. She became the face of Balenciaga in 2020, a year before her husband, Offsetmade his catwalk debut with the brand.
“Went to the s/s 22 @balenciaga show! So proud of my husband @offsetyrn who walked the show!” Cardi wrote about Offset’s surprise performance at the Paris show via Instagram in October 2021. “Thank you [Demna, the creative director] and the Balenciaga team for your hospitality! I had such a wonderful experience.”

Just like their fashion-conscious parents, Cardi and Offsett’s mixed offspring have their own tastes.
“She has a lot of dresses. She already has an attitude about herself where she already knows how to walk like a model and she takes it seriously,” Offset shared about Kulture in an October TikTok video for UGG. “She always wants to show me, ‘Daddy, look what I put together, look at this scarf I’m wearing…’ I feel like she can dress herself.”
The couple even gifted Kulture a miniature Birkin bag for her last birthday. However, their sons have a different relationship with fashion.
“I remember one time I wanted to buy a Wave hat and Offset said, ‘No,’” Cardi added in the social media clip. “Whatever. I try! … All the kids got different styles – literally.”
