Wilson guest-starred in the 2022 pilot episode of Disney+ The Santa Clauses. The series, which is the continuation of Santa film trilogy, is currently in its second season. It follows Scott Calvin, aka Santa Claus (Allen), as he navigates his next chapter at the North Pole after realizing he must find a successor. Wilson, in turn, portrayed the adult version of Sara from 1994, the little girl who gave Santa soy milk after he said he was lactose intolerant.

Some stars have taken on the ultimate challenge of spreading Christmas cheer by portraying the most iconic Christmas figure: Santa Claus. While all the actors don a red suit and white beard in their roles as Santa Claus, Billy Bob Thorton had the unique task of playing a mischievous version in the 2003 film. […]

While Wilson filmed her episode with Allen, 70, more than a year ago, she revealed on her podcast that she “buried” the story about her experience because she was “great” friends with a producer on the series. The Happy endings alum also noted that her kids “loved movies,” so she kept her alleged issues on set a secret.

Wilson then mentioned that he shot a scene with Allen where she had to “throw things at him” because her character thinks he’s a burglar and not Santa Claus coming down the chimney.

“So I throw things at him. [He] goes to the producer who is standing five feet away from me and says, and I hear him, he says, ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines,'” Wilson claimed. “The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot towards me and he says, ‘Uh, Tim would ask you to stop stepping on his lines.’”

The Physically actress recalled thinking that “everyone was walking on eggshells” when Allen was on set. In addition to reportedly being scolded for the line mishap, Wilson said at the time Renovation alum finished, “he was so damn rude” and allegedly “never made eye contact, never said anything.”

Wilson noted that the whole situation was “so awkward,” but not unusual, according to an alleged conversation she had with a crew member. “It’s the end [of the scene]and Tim Allen says, “Leaving!” [He] grabs his Christmas cape, picks it up, drops it on the ground and walks out,” Wilson recalled. “And they rush into his stand-in; dear man, to whom it was much nicer to act. People rush to collect his velvet Santa coat. He’s a bitch.”

As Allen left the stage, Wilson claimed that “someone I don’t know, maybe on the crew” commented on the situation. “[He or she] breezes past me and just says, ‘You’ll see him on a good day,'” she claimed.

While Allen has yet to comment on Wilson’s allegations, he previously revealed that he had a major slip-up while playing Scott Calvin/Santa. During filming Sinterklaas 2 in 2002, Allen accidentally dropped an F-bomb.

“It was just like cats. They wouldn’t leave me alone. I’m dressed as Sinterklaas. I look like Sinterklaas. We had a North Pole set,” he said of working with so many kids during a January 2021 performance The Kelly Clarkson Shownoting that after hours in the suit he became “very angry” when two children started arguing and postponed the shoot.

Allen continued: “Fifteen takes later, the kids said one more word and I let out the loudest F-bomb. And I turned around, and there’s twelve kids who look like you ripped off their legs. Their Santa just screamed the F-bomb.”

Despite the awkward scene, Allen chose to reprise his role in the Disney+ series and the show quickly became a family affair. His real daughter Elizabeth Allen Dick plays his TV daughter Sandra, a gift for Allen.

“It’s one of those moments that I will carry with me forever,” he said exclusively We weekly in December. ‘To see the professional she has become, [she] treats everyone well, arrives on time, does her job, works long hours, [with] no complaints.”
