CRYSTAL PALACE have picked Marseille and Senegal star Iliman Ndiaye as their top target for next season.

The 23-year-old forward joined one of his youth teams from Sheffield United at the start of this season but is expected to be sold in the summer.

And Palace have launched a robust investigation after he backed out of a bid while at Afcon in January.

The Eagles have not signed an alternative to their attack as they are reluctant to land Ndiaye next time.

Marseille will be looking for around £15million, but Palace are keen to spend on that.

Meanwhile, the club are also looking for new goalkeepers as they expect Sam Johnstone to move in the next window.

West Brom's Josh Griffiths has caught their attention.

Palace's move to Ndiaye is accompanied by transfer speculation surrounding Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise.

The pair have performed excellently at Selhurst Park over the past two seasons.

Eze, who has scored five goals this season, is currently sidelined through injury after suffering a muscle tear in the 3-2 win over Sheffield United.

While Olise has endured an injury-riddled season, picking up a hamstring injury in a 4-1 defeat to Brighton.

The former Reading wideman had only just returned from injury from the bench before his minutes on the pitch began to run short.

However, Olise has been lined up as a potential summer signing by Manchester United, Man City and Chelsea.

A £50 million price tag will not deter suitors for his signature.
