David Walliams looks unrecognizable as he dresses up in a range of hilarious outfits including Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz at the Mediterranean Film Festival Awards
He is known for cracking jokes and entertaining a crowd.
And David Walliams did just that as he injected his trademark humor into the Mediterranean Film Festival Awards Ceremony.
The funny man, who served as host for the awards, was not one to shy away from dressing up and made sure all eyes were on him when he took the stage.
In footage from his hilarious skits, the comedian, 51, looked unrecognizable as he dressed up as a golden bee and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz in a bid to kick off the first year of the prestigious awards with a bang.
The comedian turned into a bee and wore a pair of gold, brown and black tights, a gold sparkling cape with a fur trim and a gold crown.

The media personality took it a step further when he wore a pair of gold pointy gloves with brown fur and completed his look with a pair of black boots with gold laces.
He was seen dangling from the ceiling, presumably as if flying like the buzzing insect.
Dorothy served as the inspiration for the actor’s next look, as he wore a blue plaid pinafore dress with a white trim, tied it up with a pigtail wig and added a little glamor with a red lip.
The Little Britain star completed the look with a wicker basket, some navy blue long socks and the character’s famous red slippers.
It was a far cry from his red carpet appearance, where he dressed to impress in a smart black suit, which he paired with a white shirt and bow tie.
The former Britain’s Got Talent judge completed his sharp look with a pair of black lace-up boots.
David’s appearance comes after his ex-wife Lara Stone was spotted sporting a blossoming baby bump with her real estate developer husband David Grievson.
Lara is also the proud mother of Alfred, 10, who she shares with Walliams.
All-in: The entertainer made sure he looked the part, as he wore a pair of gold pointy gloves, tights, a fur cape, and a pair of black boots with gold laces.

The Mediterranean Film Festival is a six-day film festival featuring acclaimed actors, producers, industry creatives and more from Valletta, the capital of Malta.
According to the website, the week will be filled with workshops, conferences and screenings for all the creatives in attendance.
There will also be performances by The X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson.
