Hair loss can be caused by various issues ranging from stress to problems with our immune system, but the content creator said the most common is due to telogen effluvium.

This condition can cause the body to spontaneously lose excess hair and in some cases can occur after a shock to our nervous system, such as a bump to our head.

More typical triggers include certain medications, postpartum hair loss, stress, nutritional deficiencies, and even excessive sun exposure.

Usually the problem resolves itself, but if you are losing more than 200 hairs per day, it may be time for medical intervention.

If you’re concerned about your locks, there are also over-the-counter remedies you can use – with minoxidil being one of the best.

Alternatively, you can combine these medical treatments with homeopathic options such as rosemary oil and dermarolling – be sure to always consult your doctor before starting your new regimen.

This should have your locks looking great again in no time, but if you’re still having problems, talk to your doctor.
