Diana Ross was announced on Tuesday as the face of Yves Saint Laurent’s Spring 2024 collection.
The 79-year-old music icon – who celebrated Christmas with son Evan Ross and daughter-in-law Ashlee Simpson – appeared in two stunning black and white photos taken by photographer David Sims for the launch.
From creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the ageless beauty modeled a simple, figure-hugging black dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves and a halter neck collar.
For the photoshoot, she rocked her signature voluminous dark curls while sitting on a white stool.
A second image showed the Endless Love singer wrapped in a black fur scarf.

The living legend shared one of the snapshots on her Instagram page on Tuesday, appealing to her 713,000 fans.
Her daughter Tracee Ellis Ross was one of the first to like and comment on the post, writing, “No one like you!!! NO ONE!!! Simply the most beautiful.’
Tracee, 51, also shared the result on her personal Instagram account, writing in the caption: ‘My mom is fire! Hoping to mature in this direction.”
And shared on the YSL Instagram account was a simple post with a white background and black font that read “DIANA ROSS SPRING 24 COLLECTION.”
It comes after Diana’s son Evan, 35, shared a holiday snap with his beautiful mum and their large family on social media two weeks ago.
They all gathered in a backyard for photos, posing under a tree decorated with large bulbous ornaments.
The photo, which was posted on Boxing Day, featured Ashlee and Evan’s children Jagger, eight, and Ziggy, three, as well as Ashlee’s son Bronx, 15.
Some of Evan’s siblings were also on hand for the Christmas photo, including his sisters Chudney Ross and Rhonda Ross Kendrick and their brother Ross Naess.

Diana’s son Evan Ross posted a Christmas photo of his family, including wife Ashlee Simpson and his mother, all dressed in matching bear outfits
Ms Ross also posted the same photo on her Instagram page with the caption: ‘Sending love. Happy holidays from us to yours.’
She fittingly added a Christmas tree and bear emoji as her fans double-tapped the post more than 43,000 times.
And on New Year’s Eve she uploaded a beautiful black and white photo as the soundtrack to her song Thank You.
The caption read: “Start over. 2024 will be the best ever. Thank you. Sending my love.”
