But sometimes the design choices of others can leave us scratching our heads – and in some circumstances they are so baffling as to make no sense at all.
People from all over the world have shared the most bizarre planning choices they’ve seen Positive side collected some of the best examples.
One of the photos showed an escalator and stairs that appeared to lead straight to a brick wall in a shopping center, while elsewhere a wall had been built right over a toilet seat, preventing people from opening the lid to use it.
In the meantime, a tap was placed directly above some electrical sockets and a bench was placed just below a water pipe.
