A FRUGAL beauty lover has found dupes for expensive cosmetics – and she’s not keeping an eye on them.
She said she found make-up alternatives such as Urban Decay and Benefit at Aldi for a fraction of the price.
Ashley (@ashleyandblairbeauty) filmed herself strolling the aisles of the budget-friendly store in a video on TikTok.
“I buy my makeup at Aldi, which I know sounds crazy because they don’t normally sell items like this, but these look so good and the prices are beyond amazing. I have to try it,” she said .
She found a $3.99 mascara called They’re Brilliant — which she said is “obviously similar to” Benefit’s They’re Real mascara, $29.
“The lighter blue packaging is the waterproof version,” she added.
She also found a dupe for her eyeshadow at the budget-friendly grocery store.
“These eyeshadow palettes look really nice too,” she said.
“This is now a large full-size eyeshadow palette with lots of neutral, natural brown tones, something you could definitely use every day.”
She compared it to Urban Decay’s Naked Heat palette, $59.

“Here at Aldi it’s only $5.99 and they have a few different color options,” she added.
However, she decided to skip the Aldi eyeshadow.
“I don’t need a new eyeshadow palette, so I think I’m going to pass on that, but I’m definitely going to pick up one of these concealers,” she said.
Ashley noted that they look exactly like the Tarte Shape Tape, $31, but these are only $5.99.
“They look really nice,” she said.
The video attracted many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comments section.
“Last month they had Benefit box blush and highlighter dupes. I never bought one because I have more makeup than Broadway, but they looked good,” one person wrote.
“I have a bronzer and I really like it,” Ashley replied.
“I bought that eyeshadow, it’s not bad and the metal cases are pretty good quality,” another added.
