Firerose breaks her silence with very surprising post after husband Billy Ray Cyrus files for divorce: ‘Such a special day!’
Firerose has broken her silence after it was revealed that her husband Billy Ray Cyrus had filed for divorce after seven months of marriage.
The Australian artist, 34, was tagged in an Instagram photo of herself recording music in a studio.
“Grateful for this amazing Monday with these beautiful talented souls,” the post read, tagging Firerose and writer Andrew Berg.
She reposted the photo to her story after spending the day in the studio, adding, “Such a special day.”
The post comes after it was reported that Billy Ray, 62, filed for divorce from Firerose in late May TMZ.

The singer married his Australian wife in October 2023.
She was his third wife – Billy was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 and to Miley Cyrus’ mother Tish from 1993 to 2022.
The divorce case notes that there are no minor children between them.
Tish Cyrus – who shares three children – including Miley Cyrus – with the Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker – married Prison Break star Dominic Purcell in 2023.
Billy and Firerose had previously chatted about their romance and the unexpected way they met and eventually married.

On an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show last year, Kelly asked the couple about the story of how they met.
“It’s actually a funny story because I left an audition for Sunset Gala in Hollywood,” Firerose explained.
The couple met on a street in Los Angeles while Billy was with his dog and Firerose was coming from an audition.
‘[He] was the most beautiful German Shepherd you ever saw,” Firerose said. “He took advantage of a divine purpose because we were just friends at the time and all those years later… that was fourteen years ago. All these years later, we just got married.”
Their wedding took place over a year after they initially announced their engagement, and almost two years after Billy Ray’s divorce from Tish.

The hitmaker said ‘yes’ to the Australian singer just two months after Tish married Prison Break star Purcell in August.
In the caption of a joint Instagram post with his new wife, Billy affectionately wrote, “10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyful day when our two souls joined as one in holy matrimony.”
Cyrus said, “It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.”
“Because we both heard the preacher say, ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife,’ that was the sacred moment when our new forever began. Long live love! ❤️.’

The two most notably collaborated on the track New Day, which was released in 2021, and they also performed the song together on a number of talk shows.
Billy and Firerose also worked on the track Plans, which they sang together on Good Morning America in September.
In August 2022, Billy proposed to Firerose, but he didn’t confirm their engagement until later that same year in November.
He is now embroiled in a family feud with his daughter Miley.
