Queen Máxima of the Netherlands looked radiant as she arrived at a museum in Paris this evening to open an exhibition.

Joined by French first lady Brigitte Macron as she entered the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, the Dutch royal, 52, turned heads in a striking Iris van Herpen dress as she prepared to open an exhibition by the Dutch designer.

The floor-length dress featured a high neck and cape, plus embroidery and a shimmering full skirt, which meant all eyes were on the Argentine-born royal as she stepped onto the red carpet.

Mother-of-three Máxima wore her blonde locks in a neat but relaxed updo and opted for statement earrings with her glamorous dress.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Macron’s wife Brigitte, 70, channeled her signature Parisian chic style in a white coat and black heels.
