Greggs is slashing the price of a huge pizza deal as fans rush to stock up for dinner
GREGGS customers are delighted as the bakery cuts the price of their popular pizza deal.
Fans are rushing to stock up for dinner as every pizza box flavor is reduced to a dirt-cheap price.
Flavors consist of Margherita, Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken, Pepperoni Hot Shot and Half and Half.
Each pizza now costs just €7.99, reduced from €9.55.
Customers flocked to Facebook to share their joy.
One person thought: “It could be a good call for a work dinner, half the fun.”
While another said: “Considering that 2day, looks good.”
A third suggested: “Frying the pizza in an air fryer for about 5/6 minutes will brown the cheese and restore the flavor as if it had just come out of the oven in the shop. It also works perfectly day after and for sausage rolls .”
It comes as Greggs has confirmed it is closing a store in Bristol.
The store is located in the Broadwalk Shopping Center and the closing date has not yet been confirmed.
Local residents shared on Facebook their disappointment upon hearing the news.
One user said: “Omg all the shops go from there.”
Another said: “Too bad it was very popular.”
Gregg’s Easter menu
Greggs is reintroducing three sweet treats to the menu for Easter.
An Easter chocolate cake bar
If that’s not enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, you can enjoy a £1.40 Easter chocolate cake bar (15p higher than last year).
The chocolate flavored sponge cake is also covered with chocolate icing and a pink Easter egg for decoration.
The bunny biscuit
The crispy chocolate bunny biscuits contain 328 calories and £1.15 (5p more than last year).
The cookies are covered in milk chocolate and finished by hand with tasty icing.
The Easter bun
If you haven’t tried an Easter bun yet, they are made from vanilla sponge, topped with fondant and a cute sugary white Easter bunny.
They cost £1 (5p less than last year) and contain 210 calories.
