One of her main recommendations was to use homemade rosemary oil, which stimulates circulation and accelerates hair growth.

A 2022 study found evidence that rosemary oil had the same effect as Minoxidil, a prescription hair growth drug, after six weeks of use.

“My hair broke badly from the bleach,” Jenny wrote on Instagram.

“And I suffered from hair loss due to chronic stress.

“I started oiling, using rosemary oil and massaging my scalp.

“I cut off most of my hair and started all over again.

“I started seeing changes after six months of consistent work.

“So, please take this as your cue to start your hair journey.”

Jenny started adding weekly hair oiling sessions to her beauty routine and had a hairdresser cut away all her dead ends.

In addition to rosemary oil, she also only sleeps on satin pillowcases to minimize friction-related damage to her tresses.

There are many different types of hair loss, and this is usually not a cause for concern.

It can take the form of “thinning” or involve a total loss of hair, starting with clumps falling out.

Hair loss can occur gradually or suddenly and can affect both young and old.

According to the NHS, we lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, often without realizing it.

Stress, weight loss and illness are common events that cause women to lose more hair than normal.

Doctors assured that “it's usually nothing to worry about.”

But if you're like Jenny and the loss is bothering you, there are plenty of safe things you can try at home to improve the quality of existing hair and promote the growth of new strands.
