UPSC 2024 Calendar: Civil Services Preliminary Exam Notification on February 14

UPSC 2024 Calendar: The application form along with the notification for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024 will be published on February 14, 2024, as per the UPSC exam calendar 2024. The last date for submitting the online application form is March 3. Aspiring IAS and IPS candidates have 18 days to complete and submit their application forms. Candidates must apply online through the website upsconline.nic.in. The applicant must first register with the One-time registration (OTR) platform., available on the Commission's website, and then proceed to complete the application for the exam online. OTR only needs to be registered once in your life. This can be done at any time of the year. If the candidate has already registered, he/she can immediately complete the exam form online.

Civil Services Preliminary Examination Pattern

The Civil Service Examination consists of two consecutive phases

• Civil service examination (provisional) (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the main examination; And
• Civil Service Examination (Main Examination) (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts

The Candidates who have been declared eligible by the Commission for admission to the Civil Service (Main) Examination will have to reapply online and submit Detailed Application Form-I online. [DAF-I] along with scanned documents/certificates supporting date of birth, category {nl. SC/ST/OBC (without OBC attachment)/EWS [Economically Weaker Sections] (without EWS attachment) /PwBD / Ex-Serviceman} and educational qualification with required examination fee.

• Register yourself on the One-time registration (OTR) platform.available on the Commission's website,
• Proceed to complete the online application for the exam.
• Upload the necessary documents.
• Pay the application fee and submit the application form.
• Download a copy of it for future reference.
