Kolkata, July 3: Finally, the wait is over as Mohun Bagan Super Giant unveils their highly anticipated new logo ahead of the 2023-24 season of the Indian Super League (ISL) on Monday.
In March, Mariners owner Sanjiv Goenka announced minutes after winning the ISL title that ATK Mohun Bagan will be renamed Mohun Bagan Super Giant from next season.

It was a big win for all the Green and Maroon fans, who all fought and protested to remove the ATK prefix of the defunct Amar Tomar Kolkata team from their parent club’s name.
As soon as the name change was announced, the new logo was eagerly awaited as the previous logo showed the establishment of the club in 2020 as a result of the merger of ATK and Mohun Bagan.
The fans of the Kolkata giants can now rest easy as the owners have restored the 1889 logo but now they have added wings on either side of the logo which is actually the logo of the RPSG group, the parent company of Sanjiv Goenka .
Mohun Bagan comes to the transfer window and builds a strong team as they played in 2022 FIFA World Cupper with Australian Jason Cummings, former Albania international Armando Sadiku and Indian superstar midfielder Anirudh Thapa.
Aside from Thapa, the Mariners have also roped in Indian international Anwar Ali from FC Goa to bolster their defense. Antonio Lopes Habas returns to Mohun Bagan as technical director under permanent coach Juan Ferrando.
