JERUSALEM, Nov 20 (AP) — Israeli Major General Aharon Yariv and Lieutenant General Mohammed Gamasy met yesterday in a new round of talks at the ceasefire line to discuss the complex problem of troop withdrawal.

General Gamasy had one small request for General Yariv – to have the Israel-based press spell his name with an ‘s’ and not a ‘z’.

General Yariv later told journalists that he was eager to help his Egyptian counterpart, and indeed, the military spokesman in Tel Aviv issued an advisory to the press suggesting that the name be spelled ‘Gamasy’, not ‘Gamazy’ .
