Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade get ‘close’ amid reconciliation rumours

Olivia Jade Giannulli And Jacob Elordy have been spotted together several times since their split in August 2022, but an insider tells us that exclusively Us weekly that they’re not really a couple yet.

“They’ve gotten close again in the past two months and have traveled a lot together,” the source says of the YouTube star, 23, and the Euphoria actor, 25. “This month they went to New York and decided to go to Italy to get away from it all.”

The duo were photographed earlier this week soaking up the sun on the beach in Paraggi, which is near Portofino. Last month, they were spotted visiting a car dealership in Los Angeles. In an instant, Elordi bent down to hug Giannulli, and in another picture, Elordi put his arm across Giannulli’s chest as they waited for their car.

“They wanted to see if their connection was still there,” says the insider Us of the couple’s recent reunions. “They both seem very happy and their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they officially got back together.”

The pair initially sparked romance rumors in December 2021 when they were spotted having coffee together in LA. the then budding romance went “well” and there were “sparks between them.”

Elordi was divorced from Kai Gerber in November 2021, while Giannulli retired from an occasional boyfriend Jackson Guthy in August 2021.

May 2022, Us confirmed that Elordi and Giannulli were officially dating after they were pictured laughing together while walking their dogs in a West Coast park.

However, three months later, the couple called it quits. That’s what an insider told me Us at the time when Giannulli was “single and having fun”, while Elordi was “completely focused” on his burgeoning career.

However, according to the first source, the two kept in touch over the past few months and decided to get back together.

“When they first started dating, the attraction and the chemistry was there, but they were both on the same wavelength at the time in terms of not wanting to be tied down in a committed relationship,” says the insider, on it noting that Elordi and Giannulli “still had a strong bond” despite their breakup. “They are also in the same circle of friends, so they had seen each other quite often. They handled the split very maturely and still spent time together despite being just friends.

Before dating Giannulli, Elordi was linked to Joey King And Zendaya. He later dated Gerber, 21, from September 2020 to November 2021.

Giannulli, for her part, initially divorced Guthy, 27, in May 2019, but they reconciled later that year. However, in August 2021, the duo had pulled the plug on their romance for good.
