Lafferty – who has been married to 34-year-old Park since May 2022 – shared the story Us that the comedy’s second episode features more of his wife and Heine, 34, compared to season 1.

“The goal was always to have them be a big part of the show from the beginning. They are so funny and so talented and charming and there [were] just some scheduling issues, so we couldn’t get all their time in season 1. But season 2 is really a four-hand battle between the four of our characters,” he explained.

Lafferty added that it was “a great privilege” to work with Park on the show. “The first year of our marriage was crazy because we worked on season 2,” he said. “It has been a wild ride. It’s been tough and challenging, but this is kind of where we thrive. This is how we get closer – when we both do what we love together.

“I’ve never watched it from start to finish,” he said Us. “I’ve seen episodes of the show here and there. I kind of feel like it would be if you watched… a video of your high school experience. You can literally watch me age from a teenager to a young man on the show. And so for me, that’s just a little bit uncomfortable to watch.

Despite his hesitation to binge the teen drama, the director went on to describe his time OT as “a beautiful, beautiful experience that I truly cherish.” He recalled “feeling like I had to be overly professional” because he was “the youngest person on set by a few years.” Lafferty was not yet of legal drinking age when the show started, and he made fun of it USAI look forward to the day when he can enjoy a refreshing Smirnoff ICE.

“I actually remember being there the very first season and of course I wasn’t allowed to drink. But I remember seeing the Smirnoff ICE and thinking, “When I turn 21, I think I might crack one,” he said.

The oculus actor will be attending the Smirnoff ICE Relaunch Tour stop in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 22. Steve Aoki And Elena Rose are scheduled to perform. All ticket sales go to the non-profit organization Women in musicwhich is dedicated to advancing women in the musical arts space.
