Pregnant Jana Kramer praises fiance Allan, ex-husband Mike on Father’s Day

John Kramer wrote a thoughtful Christmas message to both her fiancé, Alan Russelland her ex-husband Mike Caussin.

“Happy Father’s Day [sic] to all the dads out there, especially these three 💙,” the A tree hill alum, 39, wrote via Instagram on Sunday 18 June, referring to Russell, 42, Caussin, 36, and her father, Martin Kramer.

Jana also uploaded a trio of snaps to accompany her caption, including a sweet photo of the Scottish football coach rocking her baby bump.

The Michigan native — who went public with Russell in January, six months before getting engaged — announced earlier this month that the couple is expecting their first baby together. (Jana is already mum to daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4, whom she co-parents with Caussin. Russell, for his part, has a 16-year-old son from a previous relationship.)

“It was a shock. I didn’t think I could get pregnant,” Jana said during an episode of her “Whine Down” podcast earlier this month, noting that her past miscarriages left her worried about carrying a pregnancy to term. “[Allan] had asked me, “Do you want to have another baby?” He [was] the first person I thought of, “With you, yes, I would.” And then I remember being upset and saying, “I just don’t think I could.” I’m like, ‘If you really want one, maybe I’m not your girl because I don’t know if I can physically carry another baby.’”

The “I Got the Boy” singer’s Sunday tribute also included a selfie of Caussin on a plane with Jolie and Jace.

Jana and the former NFL player were married for almost six years and finalized their divorce in 2021 after Caussin allegedly cheated on her multiple times. Since then, they have worked to raise their little ones amicably and befriend each other’s new partners.

“Everyone just gets along really well and that’s really nice,” Jana said exclusively Us weekly in April from Caussin and Russell. “Like, one time I sat back and just kind of looked at… I thought, ‘OK, things can change and it can be beautiful.'”

She continued at the time: “I’m at football games and it’s just so cool. It’s just a whole circle. Like… all the dust has settled and it just becomes whole again.

After Russell proposed to Jana, her ex-husband offered his blessing.

“[Mike] was like, ‘Hey, I’m really happy for you. Allan is a great guy,” she recalled during an episode of her podcast in May. “Actually, I started crying because he says, ‘Of all people, you deserve to have someone who loves and respects you and you deserve this.’ He says, “After all I’ve done to you, you deserve this more than anyone.” It meant so much to me that he said that.”
