Until today, Lamarre-Condon refused to cooperate with police. But today he revealed where he left the couple’s bodies.

The remains were found on Tuesday in a rural area in the town of Bungonia, more than 180 km away Mr Baird and Mr Davies are said to have been murdered in Paddington last Monday.

Police found the remains in two surfing bags along with ‘other items of interest’ at a remote property in Bungonia.

Chief Inspector Daniel Doherty said: “A driveway goes up to a property and there is a fence there, to the side of the driveway.

“There appears to have been an attempt to cover the bodies with stones and rubble.”

The bodies were found “at the entrance of the [Bungonia] property” – 20 minutes from original search location – added DS Doherty.

Mr Baird’s family looked somber today as they arrived at the crime scene in Bungonia in two cars.

His devastated loved ones spent half an hour at the spot where his remains were found.

Police believe Mr. Baird, 26, and Mr. Davis29, were shot dead by Senior Constable Lamarre-Condon on February 19.

They claim the suspect then transported the bodies in a white rental van.

New South Wales Police said the alleged killer took a female acquaintance to the remote property last Wednesday.

They allege he broke the gate’s lock before leaving the woman there, driving the van onto the property and returning to her at the gate 30 minutes later, police said.

The acquaintance, who has been cooperating with police, said she “didn’t know the bodies were in the vehicle,” New South Wales Police Assistant Commissioner David Hudson said.

Authorities believe the angle grinder Lamarre-Condon purchased was used to break open the gate.

Police believe Lamarre-Condon later returned and moved the bodies again.

Lamarre-Condon, who is expected to appear in court this week, was previously in a relationship with Baird and police have been told their split was ‘acrimonious’.

Mr Baird has reportedly expressed concerns for his safety, saying he was stalked.

DS Doherty said there were “no warnings or warnings given to us in relation to his behavior or any relationship breakdown”.

Celeb hunter Lamarre-Condon was known for taking selfies with famous faces such as Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus And Kim Kardashian.
