Katy Perry 'shows disgust for American Idol and suggests her wings have been clipped'
KATY Perry's final season on American Idol will be affected by difficulties and the possibility of aggression, a body language expert said.
She claimed the Roar hitmaker's relationship with Ryan Seacrest looked broken as the singer showed 'red flags' during a TV interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

On Monday, Katy, 39, announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she would be leaving the hit music competition.
When Katy told the chat show host that season 22 would be her last, Jimmy looked shocked.
Katy has been a judge on American Idol since its reboot in 2018.
Body language expert Judi James said the mother of one performed a “closing ritual” but tried to hide her “true feelings.”
In season 21, Katy faced backlash from viewers due to Sara Beth Liebe, who shamed her mother.
Sara left the competition because she had to go home to take care of her children.
Katy was also accused of being rude to singer Wé Ani after failing to give her feedback.
“Closed eyes accompanied Katy's long pauses during her Jimmy Kimmel chat,” James told The US Sun.
“These were cut off rituals to hide her true feelings.

“She showed what appeared to be disgust or rejection when asked how long she would be on the show.
“When she finally announced that this would be the last season, there was a little jaw drop that suggested aggression.
“This relates to possible upcoming battles.
“When she told Jimmy, 'I love Idol,' Katy's hands formed wings that never quite reached her heart.

“It was only when she talked about what would happen next that she waved her hands clenched into fists.
“Her words were about freedom and individuality.
She closed one eye again and sucked in her lips as she said she was “creating space for my new wingspan.”
“This suggested that Katy felt like her wings had been clipped on American Idol.”
Katy's fellow judges include music superstars and her friends, Lionel Richie, 74, and Luke Bryan, 47.
“Well, they'll find out tonight,” Katy told Kimmel when asked if they were aware of her decision.
“I've been in the studio for a while, so they thought something was up,” she replied.

James suggested that Katy's comments hinted at a series of problems on set.
“Her comments indicated a background of problems,” she said.
“Katy would have already made her feelings clear backstage.
“When she talked about the other presenters, Katy sounded dismissive.
“It shocked Kimmel that she told him before she told them.
“Her emotions at this point felt like she had shaken off the entire team.
“It was as if Katy had no problem hearing the news from the TV interview.
“This was a red flag regarding some of her relationships on the show.
“She put her hand on her leg, as if she wanted to feel defiant and decisive.”
