Kylie Jenner offers condolences to BFF Anastasia Karanikolaou after her mother’s death

Kylie Jenner was quick to send her heartfelt condolences to her best friend, Anastasia ‘Stassie’ Karanikolaou, after the model revealed that her mother has tragically passed away.

The TV personality, 25, who officially legally changed her one-year-old son’s name from Wolf to Aire, jumped to the comment section of Stassie’s post where she informed her followers of the sad loss.

The mother-of-two, who has been close to the media star, 26, since her feud with ex-BFF Jordyn Woods, wrote: “I love you forever.”

Stassie uploaded an assortment of photos of her mother taken over the years and typed out, “On Monday, June 26th, Heaven won someone so special…,” but did not reveal the cause of her death.

She continued, “it’s hard to imagine not being able to call or hug or cry literally anything and then laugh at the fact that we are all such crybabies and so much more.”

Stassie closed emotionally with, “we will miss you every day. we know you are now at peace papou.. we love you to the moon and back forever. rest in paradise mama.’

The first image the star shared on the Instagram carousel was a past image of her mother posing with both her and her older sister from when they were younger.

The second photo was taken when her mother held Stassie in her arms and gave her a loving kiss on the cheek. Another photo showed her mother looking down at her with a loving smile when she was a little girl.

The fourth image added to the series was a close-up shot of her mother flashing a cheerful smile to the camera. Two other photos were taken when Stassie was joined by her mother for photos when she was a young child.

Finally, the media personality uploaded a throwback photo of her mother as she walked down the aisle in an elegant white lace wedding dress teamed with a sheer veil and sparkling tiara.

Along with Kylie, the model’s other celebrities and close friends took the time to send their love and support to Stassie as she mourns the loss of her mother.

Jenner’s mom, Kris, typed, “Sending you so much love Stass and praying for you and your family ❤️,” while Khloe Kardashian wrote, “Stass, I’m so sorry. I love you so much. I am always here for you for EVERYTHING ❤️.”

Hailey Bieber added, “Love you Stass ❤️,” while Sofia Richie Grainge added, “I’m sorry Stas❤️.”

Other celebrities offering their condolences on Friday included Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas, who wrote, “Sorry for your loss.”

During an interview with Rush in 2021, Stassie briefly talked about her family and childhood, revealing that she grew up in a middle-class upbringing in Woodland Hills.

“My mom struggles with addiction, so that was a big thing. We have a very distant relationship. I may have seen her a few times over the years,” she explained to the outlet. The media star added that her father also used to work 16-hour days.

“He did what he could to give me and my sister the best life he could. He was there,’ she explained.

Stassie then opened up about the importance of friendship in her life, such as her bond with Kylie Jenner, whom she met at a Barnes & Noble. ‘We know too much about each other. We’re stuck together forever.’

The star also humorously joked that the two were “moving into a farm together and getting married,” revealing that the secret to a long-lasting friendship was “brutal honesty.”

While talking to E! News last year, in August 2022, Stassie also gushed about her friendships and support system around her. “All my friends help me.”
