It has been reported that pop sensation Raye, 25, will be Louis’ first guest for the new series, revealing why the 53-year-old was pictured watching the Glastonbury singers perform behind the scenes over the weekend.

The famed broadcaster was spotted in the wings during Raye’s performance, wearing faded black jeans and a blue shirt.

Louis’s appearance now makes more sense, as it’s likely his presence was related to the upcoming interview and may even appear on the show.

A source told The sunNot only is Louis interested in big screen actors or elite athletes, he also likes someone with important life experiences to explore.

Raye has previously shared her history with substance abuse and sexual abuse, including an incident with an industry record producer.

Louis confirmed that a second series of his popular BBC program will return in November last year following the success of the first season.

Raye burst into tears during her performance at the festival on Saturday when she lost her cool as the crowd continued to chant to her.

The singer managed to keep her emotions in check before sending air kisses to the audience before resuming her performance.

The 25-year-old looked stunning as she performed in a black cut-out one-shoulder midi dress by Off-White with her red hair in neat curls.

She accessorized the look with huge silver hoop earrings, silver bracelets and funky black and white patterned nails.

Raye thanked her 793,000 followers on Instagram for the support of her fans, her team and Off-White for her dress.

She wrote ‘How can I ever recover, 60,000 people turned up to watch us on Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage, followed by our surprise set on the BBC Introducing stage which was somehow just as magical…GOD IS GOOD’.

Louis’ series returns after a successful first series in which he interviewed singer and Masked Singer judge Rita Ora, Academy Award-winning actress Dame Judi Dench, rapper Stormzy, comedian Katherine Ryan and young rock star Yungblud.

It was reported earlier this year that boxer Anthony Joshua will also feature in the celebrity line-up in the new series.

In November, the journalist revealed that Elon Musk was on his bucket list to interview after he shared on Twitter his interest in having Tesla’s CEO on the show.

He tweeted: ‘@elonmusk I have been commissioned for a second series of my BBC interviews. Follow me back and DM me pls.’

He also posed the same question to former President Donald Trump.
