A man has been charged over a shooting outside a busy south London pub as police hunt for a second suspect.
Police met swarmed the Belle Vue pub in Clapham Common on Friday at around 5pm after a firearm – believed to be a shotgun – went off.
Two women, 27 and 36, were injured in the shooting and a 27-year-old man was injured when he was hit by the moped.
Keymarni King has now been arrested and charged with possession of one firearm with the intention of endangering the life of another person/enabling another person to do so, aggravated vehicle and injuries caused by an accident.
He was also charged on Monday with two counts of wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
The 18-year-old will face Bromley Magistrates’ Court Wednesday, while police are working to track down a second suspect.
According to PoliceOfficers chased two moped riders who failed to stop in Clapham on Friday before the moped collided with a 27-year-old pedestrian and crashed “a short time later”.
One of the suspects had a shotgun and when the pair fled on foot, they dropped the firearm.
When it hit the ground, it discharged and two women on the street, ages 27 and 36, were injured by shotgun pellets, police said.
Police added that the women “were not intentionally targeted.”
The pedestrian and two injured women have now been released Hopital.
