Matildas debut forward Sharn Freier packs on the PDA with fiancée as they go for a morning stroll in Sydney with the team – ahead of the Tillies rematch against China

Matildas star Sharn Freier was spotted packing on the PDA with fiance Jessica Righetti on Sunday morning as they took a stroll around their hotel.

The football star, 22, and her love shared a kiss as the couple spent some quality time with Sharn’s teammates ahead of their rematch against China on Monday.

Dressed in a cream-coloured graphic print jumper and gray shorts, Sharn, who made her debut with the Tillies last month, also wore a pair of comfortable white Adidas trainers.

She pulled her locks back into a tight bun and could barely keep her hands off Jessica, who donned a black sweater and hid her eyes behind dark sunglasses.

Elsewhere, some of the other young newcomers to the team looked to make the most of their recent additions.

Their observation comes after Matildas coach Tony Gustavsson admitted he was ‘a bit concerned’ about Caitlin’s possible hamstring injury.

The star striker was substituted just after the hour mark in Friday’s friendly against China in Adelaide after suffering from tightness in the back of her thigh.

Tony, 50, insisted it was a precaution but the Arsenal star will not feature in Monday night’s rematch at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

“I’m a bit worried,” said the Swede at full-time Australia drew 1-1 after Michelle Heyman’s injury-time equalizer in Adelaide.
