Missouri OnlyFans teacher warns against porn career after being left ‘total outcast’

A former one Missouri teacher turned around Only fans model has warned other teachers not to follow in her footsteps as she regrets creating an account on the adult website.

Megan Gaither, 32, told the St. Louis Dispatch that she “would not recommend” other teachers join OnlyFans for the sake of supplemental income.

Although cash flow is good and she makes five times what she ever did as a teacher, Gaither says she has become a “total outcast” in her hometown of St. Clair, Missouri.

But most of all, she misses being a teacher at St. Clair High School.

Just days after cleaning out her classroom, she said Post-shipping that the hate she receives for her adult comments has only gotten worse.

Although cash flow is good and she makes five times what she ever did as a teacher, Gaither says she has become a “total outcast” in her hometown of St. Clair, Missouri.

“A lot of people say I should be happy, but I wouldn’t wish this past year on anyone,” Gaither said. ‘I studied for twelve years to become a teacher, and now it’s over.

‘Looking back, I wouldn’t recommend this. If I could go back, I would tell myself not to do it.”

Last September, Gaither became the second teacher at St. Clair High School to be placed on leave for having an OnlyFans account, where she posted direct-to-consumer pornographic content within the same month.

She was an English teacher and cheerleading coach in college, but she was suspended after a student left a note under her classroom door saying they “knew her secret.”

The married teacher had been working at the high school for four years and said she started her raunchy page to supplement her income — as did her colleague Brianna Coppage, who noted she was a teacher on her own account.

Gaither, who received a $47,500 salary last year, said she hid “very well behind an alias and no facial photos” but was released against her will. On OnlyFans, she earned up to $5,000 a month.

She told me Post-shipping in October that the reason she turned to porn was to help her through the holidays. She said: “Teaching does not support anyone financially.

“It’s very difficult to stretch those paychecks during the summer. That’s why I did it.’

After her fellow teaching colleague was outed, Gaither deactivated her OnlyFans account, which had about 1,500 subscribers, but the rumors continued to swirl.

Gaither appeared in a video on Coppage’s account – with her face hidden – after a party in the city – in which she wore a costume.

But people started putting two and two together when a photo of Gaither wearing the same costume to the party was publicly posted online.

She said, “I was maybe four minutes into the whole thing, and I definitely didn’t think it was going to ruin my whole career.”

The situation took a turn for the worse when a student put a note under her classroom door suggesting they “knew her secret,” Gaither said.

Gaither has since reactivated her account and is still creating content, which she said has had its highs and lows. While she doesn’t look down on the school district or her colleagues, she is still angry that someone snitched.

“My husband and I talked about it before I started OnlyFans that there would be consequences if I got caught,” Gaither said. ‘I know I’ve made choices. But whoever reported me, I have to ask: was that necessary? And what have I done to them to deserve this kind of treatment?’

On the one hand, she earns $22,000 per month from her 1,500 subscribers. Since October, she has earned $2 million and has been able to buy 50 acres of land near St. Clair, where they plan to grow a garden and raise chickens.

She also said she has paid off her student loans and credit card debt.

“Our lives have been changed forever because of OnlyFans,” Coppage said.

But with that she has come to the realization that her career as a teacher is over, a career that feels like ‘a lifetime ago’.

She has also been ostracized from her community and even from members of her own family due to her controversial career pivot. The former teacher said she is in therapy to deal with the flood of negativity, and criticized her role as a teacher and parent of two young children.

“It’s unreal how quickly people seem to forget that I’m human,” she said. “I would never bash someone based on what they look like or how their body is shaped, but these people do.”

Her direct messages are not all negative. In fact, many of them are questions from aspiring OnlyFans content creators who are struggling financially.

“My advice is to really think about the consequences of this decision and consider those consequences as your reality because it will happen to you just as it did to me,” Gaither said. “Are you okay with never working professionally again?”

Gaither uses her newfound wealth to obtain a doctorate to teach at the college level. Although she understands that her options are limited, she is not giving up her passion for teaching.
