But behind closed doors, the predator filmed himself raping men who were so drugged they had no idea what had happened.

Elliott’s vile crimes only came to light then Police discovered hours of sick footage recorded in his home studio “The Penthouse”.

Videos included violent attacks involving horse riding bootsbelts and a wetsuit.

Elliott has now been jailed for 18 years after admitting 43 charges, including 11 rapes, eight sexual assaults and 17 charges of voyeurism.

His victims, all in their late teens or early twenties, branded the tycoon a monster in moving statements about the impact of victims.

One said: ‘There are years I will never get back.

“This monster was not the man we all thought he was. I am still, and will be for a long time, picking up the pieces of his mess. I suffer from nightmares and I long for the day when this case doesn’t eat my brain and we can live a normal life.

“Not only is he a rapist, sexual abuser and liar, he is also a con man and a monster.”

Serial predator

Another said his life would never be the same after discovering he had been drugged and sexually abused.

He said: “At least there will be justice and the community will know the truth about who he is and what he does. Now that he has been captured and can no longer do more heinous things, the public will know how evil he really is.”

Hoeve Kroon Court was told Elliott was well known in the village of Wisborough Green and was chairman of the sports club and ran the social club.

The rapist who sold his company in 2019 for £3 million, would gain the trust of his victims and then groom them lavishly holidays and trips in his helicopter and boat.

The magnate asked the men to call him Boss or Boss Man – a name he used for himself.

He lured them to his house and used them drugs to put them in a coma.

Elliott then filmed the horrific abuse in more than 90 hours of footage, which he watched back repeatedly.

He also took hundreds of photos, which were found on memory cards he asked a friend to throw away.

This is the only appropriate outcome given the many lives he has destroyed as a result of his brutal campaign of sexual abuse, hidden behind the facade of being a trusted pillar of his local community.

Chief Inspector Miles Ockwell

The last assault took place in June 2017, when Elliott was 64, but police fear there could be more victims.

He was initially charged with 92 charges, but his guilty plea to the 43 charges was accepted.

Elliott will serve at least 12 years jail before being eligible for release. He was also sentenced to a further five years on extended licence.

Chief Inspector Miles Ockwell said: “Today’s sentence means Ian Elliott will spend a significant part of the rest of his life in prison.

“This is the only appropriate outcome given the many lives he has destroyed as a result of his brutal campaign of sexual abuse, hidden behind the facade of being a trusted pillar of his local community.

“I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the courage of Elliott’s victims who came forward to help us bring him to justice.

“They will have to live with the consequences of the terrible abuse they suffered for the rest of their lives.”
