The major retailer is selling a range of hot cross buns with a delicious new flavour.

Shoppers who flocked to the store saw bags of Lemon Drizzle Hot Cross Buns.

The classic sweet treat is made with Sicilian lemons and orange peels.

Many customers are surprised by the beloved sandwiches.

On Facebook, one user said: “Toasted with butter and some lemon curd and you’re golden brown.”

Another added: “You have to try this one.”

A third shouted: “These are amazing.”

However, not everyone was impressed, with others disapproving of the new combination.

One user said angrily: “I love a good lemon drizzle and also a nice hot cross bun.

“But they should not be combined, hot cross buns now appear to be every flavor under the sun.”

Morrisons is selling the Easter product for just £1.25 in stores.

The retailer launched the bold new flavor back in 2021 as part of a new range of flavors.

And B&M has stocked up on a new bag of crisps with a strong flavour.
